
Andrei Cozlac
Video artist and Senior Lecturer PhD at the “George Enescu” National University of Arts in Iași, specializing in photography, video, and digital image processing. He is also a guest professor in the media department at the Faculty of Arts in Târgu Mureș.
Andrei calls himself an experimentalist fascinated by new multimedia technologies, he has created numerous independent projects involving visuals, video-mapping, and live projections. He began his VJ career in 2005, collaborating with major domestic and international festivals, as well as renowned directors like Silviu Purcărete, Radu Afrim, and Alexandru Dabija.
He has developed both interactive and non-interactive video installations and founded the AV//Satellites project, performing alongside international artists. Furthermore, he is the founder of the EDGE MAPPING artist collective.
